THE NY STUDIO, and the owner of her eponymous luxury label NIDHI YASHA which currently retails across leading luxury points of sale nationally and internationally such as Anthropologie US and UK. She is an active member of the FDCI (Fashion Design council of India) and showcases bi-annually at India Fashion Week.
Her label NIDHI YASHA bagged the prestigious nomination for “National Brand “at “Luxury lifestyle awards” in Singapore in 2016, having debuted at the London Fashion Week Catwalk Edit in 2015.
In 2005, Nidhi had graduated from NIFT, New Delhi, Department of Fashion Design, with a gold medal and the award for the best all round performance, given out by the then President of India – Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and bagged one of the first International placements at NIFT, in a key position in “The TMS Group, Beijing”, a multinational fashion buying house, where she spearheaded design for a network of export houses managed by their 8 offices spread across continents. Later she also worked in few extremely renowned buying houses and export houses in Delhi, Impulse and House of Pearl Fashions, in key design positions traveling extensively for sampling and business development and contributing to high value business generation.
